International real estate firm Savills has been appointed as the sole leasing agent for Konnect Smart Logistics Centre, 26 – 30 Wing Kei Road, Kwai Chung ("The Property"). Savills is responsible for securing tenants for this pioneering whole block of fully automated cold storage facilities—the first of its kind in Hong Kong.
Konnect Smart Logistics Centre is Hong Kong's first fully automated cold storage facility equipped with robotic transport, robotic inspection, and a fully automated shelving technology. Through artificial intelligence, big data analytics, the Internet of Things, and blockchain technology, it comprehensively optimizes inventory management and operational processes, significantly reducing labour requirements and operating costs while enhancing storage and logistics efficiency.
The total gross leasing area of the Property is 208,404 square feet, with 12 floors (including G/F to 11/F). Each floor has an area ranging from 17,448 to 22,939 square feet and features multi-level shelving systems to make full use of vertical space. Its automated system ensures that everything works in perfect harmony to guarantee the secure and orderly flow of goods between floors, meeting the modern logistics industry's demands for efficiency, precision, and reliability.
The Property is located in the core logistics area of Kwai Chung, close to the container terminals and Hong Kong International Airport. The area is home to over 70% of Hong Kong's cold storage facilities, facilitating import and export distribution, reducing supply chain time, and making it an ideal choice for the storage of refrigerated foods, pharmaceuticals, and other temperature-sensitive goods.
